A week has 7 days, 168 hours, 10,080 minutes or 604,800 seconds? Your week, my week and everybody else’s week has the exact same amount of time in it. We all have the same amount of time. Why is it then, that some people seem to have all the time in the world, yet others are too busy, too pushed, simply out of time for anything and everything?
Much like the White Rabbit in the ‘Adventures of Alice in Wonderland’ looking at his pocket watch muttering “I’m late! For a very important date! No time to say hello, goodbye!”

You always have a choice as to how you spend your time.

Look at this upcoming week as a magical gift of 168 hours that you get to spend on the people, engagements and activities you think are worthy of these 168 hours. When you consciously and thoughtfully allocate this precious and consistent daily gift, you will be a peace with your schedule and your life.

When something unexpected comes along that needs an investment of your time, look at your schedule and ask yourself if you are willing to re-allocate your time for this eventuality. Ask yourself am I willing to MAKE time for this? If not, say NO to yourself and others “I choose not to make time for that”. That puts things in a very different perspective for me it creates a sense of calm and a feeling of being in alignment.

AFFIRMATION

I refuse to over-schedule myself or allow myself to become too busy in life. By balancing my time, I can give attention to myself and relax. I am better able to focus on each area of my life and give everything my very best attention. I intend to enjoy my week and my day fully and truly experience each moment of my time.
