So what are YOUR ‘Breath-takers’?

A few nights ago I sat on the patio up on the hill, where I live, overlooking the Indian Ocean, waves crashing on the shore… the yellow full moon suspended on the charcoal-indigo horizon. I took a moment to take in the breathtaking vision. A magical, peace descended over me and at that perfect moment in time I stopped doing and for that one moment I was just ‘being’…

We all have things, moments in time  that make us feel that way, it may be piece of music, a smell or sounds of children happily playing or a love breathing softly next to us in the wee hours, it may be staring at the ocean or the stars in this infinite universe… When we experience this peace, serenity and tranquillity nothing else really matters for that moment in time and often the challenges of our daily lives magically disappear.

These unexpected moments of inspiration of  bliss can lift us way beyond our daily ‘grind’
