Visit the Giza Plateau the location of the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. The Great Pyramid of Cheops, is the only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World alongside the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the royal tombs. Egypt is full of Pyramids, you will get the opportunity to visit many of them. You will be taken to Dashur, is about 40 km south of Cairo, where you will see the two pyramids built by the Pharaoh Snefru. Visit the Red Pyramid, the world’s first true pyramid, you will also have the opportunity to go inside it, next you will be able to stare at the wonder of the “Bent Pyramid”, so called due to the change in angle, After lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant, drive to Sakkara, home to hundreds of tombs & 14 pyramids, including the famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the world’s oldest freestanding stone structure.

In Cairo we will explore the Egyptian Museum, Citadel & Market and then fly to Luxor for a Nile Cruise. Cross the Nile to the famous Necropolis of Thebes to explore the west bank of Luxor which is the burial site of the Great Pharaohs of ancient Egypt. Discoverthe Valley of the Kings, where more than 62 magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks and filled with treasures for the afterlife by many pharaohs over the years. Continue to the lovely terraced mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s first female pharaoh, with its unique artistic and architectural styles. End the visit with a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon; these enormous statues were renowned for making a mysterious “Singing” noise at dawn. After this visit to the Theban “City of the Dead”. The Nile cruise will take you to Aswan, the Temple if Isis, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Denderah and Abydos. The Temple of Hathor at Denderah, among the best – preserved temples In Egypt. This complex is a rare sight to behold, complete with a massive stone roof, dark chambers, underground passages and towering columns inscribed with hieroglyphs
